I have posted two pieces of weaving for March. The titles are taken from the Haiku poems that inspired the weaving.

I do think that the colours and senses of nature at the beginning of March were so much different to those I experienced at the end of March. I absolutely love the colour of the crocuses and seeing the first vivid green shoots of Spring appear as I walk through the countryside. The sun is beginning to bless us with a greater presence in the sky and it is beginning to send out its warmth to the world – Spring is almost here!!
I have spent some time lately studying the weavings of Anni Albers. She is such an inspiration in that she considers the art in her textile weavings in purely a pictorial sense rather than having to have some practical use.
