I am just in the throes of writing up my notes taken from the demonstration provided by our member – Wolverhampton Portrait Artist, Tina Willis Jones – that took place via Zoom last Wednesday 3rd March 2021. Since September last year this accomplished artist has demonstrated on a monthly basis the many defining aspects of portraiture for the Members of the WSA (Wolverhampton Society of Artists)
Her gentle style, warmth and sense of fun comes across so well over the airwaves and during the time we have all shared together throughout this Lockdown we have become quite a merry band of followers. Tina is an incredible talent (she reached the final three of the shortlist in Episode 8 of Portrait Artist of the Year 2020). She regularly exhibits in the Mall Gallery too. We are so fortunate to have Tina as a member of the WSA and for her to be so willing to share the knowledge and understanding of her subject with us – so inspiring!
